agave mix: 12 oz light agave nectar + 12 oz filtered water
1/2 lb fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
1 Tbsp coarsely ground black peppercorns
Combine agave mix and ginger in a blender and puree
Lightly toast peppercorns in a saucepan
Add blended ginger mix to saucepan and bring to a light boil
Remove from heat, cover and let stand for 30 minutes
Pour through a fine mesh and transfer to a clean bottle
Moscow mule:
2 oz spirit
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz ginger syrup
splash club soda
